This 15-tented camp offers incredibly spacious sleeping quarters, one of which is an expansive Family Tent that has two separate bedrooms as well as two bathrooms. Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom with running water from a marble-topped single basin vanity, a separate hot shower area elevated on teak wood flooring and an en-closed private flush toilet. Each tent is furnished with a comfortable sitting area complete with a hand-carved solid wood coffee table, cosy upholstered side chairs and a quaint writing desk for journaling about the day's events. At night you can enjoy glorious sunsets descending over the Ngarenyuki River from your own private veranda, while you rest on comfortably-sized teak folding chairs. Located on the eastern edge of the Seronera Valley, far away from the noise and disturbance of the well- travelled tourist circuits and near the famous Barafu Kopjes, Sametu Camp boasts quiet seclusion, panoramic views of the wide open savannah plains and the Ngarenyuk River meandering along the edge of camp. It is not uncommon to see wildlife visiting the spring-fed watering hole, including the neighbouring Sametu lion pride.
