Illa Hotel is an ancient colonial house renovated and located in the heart of the traditional neighborhood of San Blas. Its privileged location, just at three blocks from the Plaza de Armas, guarantees a peaceful atmosphere without leaving the city center. José María Arguedas (famous Peruvian author) said in his work Deep Rivers: "Illa doesn't name the fixed light, the resplendent and superhuman sunlight. It dominate the lesser light: the heat, the lightning, all vibrant light. These species of light not fully divine with which the old Peruvian man still believed that he have deep relationships between blood and meteoric matter. "By giving the name Illa to our establishment we wanted to preserve the essence of the Quechua culture, characteristic of the Cusco city and convey the idea that we can be a hot spot for our guests during their stay in the Inca capital.
