The Murray, Hong Kong, opening in late 2017, is located along the legendary Cotton Tree Drive, in Central, Hong Kong. Led by British international studio for architecture, urbanism and integrated design Foster + Partners, the US$1 billion high-profile preservation project is part of city's Conserving Central Project. Originally designed by British modernist Ronald Phillips, the stand-alone Murray Building was built in 1969 as one of the city's most iconic landmarks. A member of Global Hotel Alliance's Ultratravel Collection, the contemporary urban chic Hotel will feature 336 oversized rooms and suites spanning 25 storeys. Gracing the rooftop will be a stunning restaurant and bar with breath-taking views of the central business district and the green oases of Hong Kong Park and the Botanical Gardens.
