This beautiful and recently opened hotel is located in the traditional San Pedro district. It is in the historic center of Cusco, 5 blocks from the main square, and just 50 yards from the central market, the church of San Pedro. The San Pedro district is a lively place of Cusco's contemporary way of life, famous for traditional embroidery workshops. Amerindia hotel*** is a delightful architectural restoration of a once ruined building. All the historic elements have been tastefully restored to the traditional "Cusqueño" style. Here, guests can enjoy the beautiful flower filled inner courtyard and see the Inca stones found during the rebuilding. You will also feel the historical pull of the old stone arches from the republican period which have previously been stables and ethnic bars (or "chicherias") in their time. Rooms on the second and third floors are entered through traditional style balconies which give beautiful views toward the Church of San Pedro , the courtyard and the surrounding mountains. "Hospitalidad Inca" stands for history, quality and comfort. That is the Amerindia Hotel motto which we hope will stay in the memory of all our guests. Local citizens and residents will need to pay an additional tax directly to the hotel.
