Abraham is known as the father of monotheism and was the first known person to travel throughout the Middle East. He journeyed throughout the lands between the Nile and Euphrates, accepting hospitality from those whose homes he visited, and extending hospitality to anyone who passed near his tent. We, the staff and owners of Abraham Jerusalem wish to extend Abraham's biblical hospitality to our time. We have created our dream hostel to support travelers and modern tourists in the Middle East. Abraham Jerusalem offers 75 en-suite rooms. You can enjoy air-conditioning and free WiFi in all our rooms. As the first hostel within the Abraham group, our Jerusalem location opened its doors in 2010. Located in the heart of the modern part of the city, the hostel is just around the corner from the famous Mahane Yehuda market, various cafés, bars, and public transport options, and just a 15-minute walk to the Old City. Our hostel welcomes up to 300 independent travelers each night. While days are easily spent relaxing in the spacious, cozy lounge, travelers and locals come together in the evenings to cook in the guest kitchen, try a local beer at the fully stocked bar or join daily events like the ever enjoyable Open Mic Night. During summertime, the spacious rooftop invites guests to yoga lessons, BBQs, and sharing a sunset drink. We believe Jerusalem is one of the most amazing cities on earth, and welcome you to come and experience it with Abraham Jerusalem! As per the rules of the Israeli Tax Authority, Israeli passport holders as well as those holding non-tourist visas (visas other than B2, B3 or B4) must add VAT on top of the quoted rates.
