Set discreetly amongst the miombo woodlands inside a nature reserve in the heart of the capital city are ten beautifully decorated chalets each with its own private veranda built using local materials wherever possible. Each chalet has comfortable twin beds with ensuite walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet and the windows are mosquito screened. Wake up to the sounds of bird calls, monkeys gambolling in the trees and often the roars of the rescued lion from the animal sanctuary next door. This is accommodation like none other in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi the 'Warm Heart of Africa' and home of the 'Lake of Stars'.
