Founded in the early 20th century, this is the oldest of Camagüey's hotels. It preserves most of its original architectural characteristics. A place of obligatory reference in the city, it treasures, among others, a list of relevant events, the stay of Chilean poetess Gabriela Mistral and the broadcast of the first radio station outside the Cuban capital. Intimate and friendly, it's known for the pleasant manners of its employees and its excellent geographical location, right on the junction of the main into the city (railroad, airport and roads) and a few meters away from the commercial area.
