Housed in an old traditional building that dates back to the 18th century, when it was part of the Monastery of Santa Catalina, is this city-hotel. The old structure has been fully restored but retains its architectural richness combined with modern amenities. The architectural aspects includes old structures from volcanic material, the old-style vaults and monastic-style columns. Luckily for the guests of the venue the most important tourist attraction of the city of Arequipa, the only citadel in Latin America, is the one that part of which the hotel inhabits. So besides sleeping just metres from the local landmark, the venue also offers easy access to Plaza de Armas, which is only 80 metres away and the financial centre of the city. There is hardly any to top the location, but the friendly and professional hotel staff tries its best to satisfy all the needs of the guests.
