This is an Italian managed Boutique Hotel, opened in 1997 conceived to pay homage to traditional Mexican design , reviewed through the respectfull eyes of a European architect and again, filtered year after year by a resident Mexican designer. It is situated in the Casco Viejo (the old town area where even Mayan ruins are still present among the first one level homes and restaurants dating late 70s) and the location is very convenient to every visitor who needs to get to the beaches, the pedestrian, even the ferry dock and the bus stations, but enjoys to spend the rest of the day in a safe and characteristic neighborhood where europeans and mexicans moved side by side, together with the first resident families.
