The hotel is situated in 2 historical houses built in around 1870 and designed by the famous Dutch architect P.J.H. Cuypers, who also designed Amsterdam's central station and the Rijksmuseum (national museum). It is charmingly decorated and centrally located in the vicinity of the city centre.
