This dive centre is situated on the south coast in the easternmost part of Cuba, the Guanahacabibes Peninsula that lies within the Cabo Corrientes nature reserve. This stretch of land was formed by waves and the pull of the current in the Gulf of Mexico. Havana airport is approximately 300 km away. The villa comprises 35 rooms that lie beside the beach, behind which are a further 20 bungalows. On-site facilities include a café, a selection of shops, a bar, a launderette and a bicycle hire service. The rooms and bungalows all come with an en suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV and a radio. Furthermore, each features a kitchen or kitchenette with a minibar and a fridge, individually controllable air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a hire safe and a balcony or terrace. Most rooms afford direct views out over the sea. It is possible to kick back and relax in the hotel hot tub, or to participate in one of the SSI and CMAS certified dive courses. Two boats are used for these courses (capacities of 28 and 12 divers). The experienced dive instructors speak English, French, Russian and Italian. All meals are available in a buffet form; lunch and the evening meal may alternatively be taken à la carte.
