The Grey Fox Inn is situated in the heart of the Vermont Mountains, perfect for activity holidays all year round. It is approximately 1.5 km from the village of Stowe and around 8 km from the local ski-region. The Little River runs through the far end of our 7½ acre property as does the popular Stowe Recreation Path. The “Rec Path” used by walkers and bikers alike is a 5 ½ mile long paved trail that winds from Stowe Village along side the Little River. The countryside inn, which was renovated in 2005, is enchanting, and comprises a total of 38 rooms and the World Famous Dutch Pancake Café, the Dutch Pancake Café was reviewed by the New York Times as “The World's Most Decadent Breakfast” and by the Stowe Guide as “One of Stowe's Most Unique Dining Attractions”. We feature over 80 varieties of 12-inch sweet and hearty Dutch pancakes. Dutch pancakes are specially prepared, crepe-like pancakes with a variety of ingredients baked in such as, apple cinnamon pancakes, shredded potato, onion and cheese pancakes, bacon and banana pancakes, chocolate chip with whipped cream pancakes . Breakfast is served daily. Hours may vary based on the season. The rooms are all cozily furnished and each comes with a coffee machine, a fridge and a hairdryer. The hotel has its own outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a sauna, a hot tub, a gym and sports fields.
