Queens Hotel Cheltenham originally opened on 21st July 1838. One of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe, the hotel is situated at the south end of the Promenade. The hotel's impressive Palladian facade exudes elegance and grandeur from the moment guests walk in. Opened in the same year as Queen Victoria's coronation, the hotel was named in her honour and today the property has retained and showcases original Victorian features that pay homage to her majesty. With a prime position on one of Cheltenham's beautiful Georgian streets and overlooking Imperial gardens, guests are perfectly placed to explore the cultural delights of the most-complete Regency town in Britain. Our restaurant Victoria's serves modern British cuisine and offers outdoor dining and drinking, followed by all-day menu featuring main meals, light bites and salads. And of course you can enjoy our freshly cooked breakfast setting you up for the day. If you are visiting us by car please note parking is available at an additional charge, subject to availability. Parking operates on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved.
