This hotel is situated in the heart of Chinchon, some 21 km from Aranjuez and 45 km from Madrid. Madrid Airport is around 65 km away. Renovated in 2007, the historical city hotel is housed in a 17th Century building which was previously an Augustine monastery. It comprises a total of 39 rooms and offers guests air conditioning, a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, lift access, a café, a restaurant, WLAN/Internet access, room and laundry services and a garage. The interiors of the rooms are in Elizabethan (Spanish Renaissance style), in blue with floral decoration, painted by hand, vaulted ceilings, clay floors and Castilian style. They come with a private bathroom with a bathtub as well as a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a TV, a safe, Internet access, a minibar, a double bed, individually adjustable air conditioning and either a balcony or a terrace. The hotel features an open air pool with sun loungers. Guests are offered excellent Castilian dishes, including meat stews in winter. Guests may select their breakfast from a continental buffet and the midday meal is also available in buffet form as well as from a set menu. The evening meal may be enjoyed à la carte or from a set menu. Guests coming from Madrid should take the A4 towards Andalucia (Cordoba), and exit at junction 29 in Ciempozuelos. Turn off towards Tutulcia and Chinchón, some 23 km from this junction. Coming from Madrid on the A3, drive towards Valencia leaving at junction 21 for Morata de Tajuña and Chinchón. From here, it is some 24 km to Chinchón.
